Insomniac Games is gearing up to deliver one of the most anticipated superhero games of the decade with Marvel’s Wolverine. While details remain scarce with just one teaser so far, fans are already speculating about which iconic villains could make their way into the game. Wolverine has one of the richest rogue galleries in Marvel Comics, ranging from savage brawlers to deeply personal enemies. Here are the top five villains we’d love to see in Marvel’s Wolverine on PS5.
1. Sabretooth – Wolverine’s Ultimate Rival
It’s impossible to imagine a Wolverine game without Sabretooth. Victor Creed is Logan’s most personal and brutal adversary, with a long history of savage encounters. A fight against Silver Samurai could emphasize defensive parries, precision strikes, and fast-paced swordplay, making it one of the most memorable encounters in the game.
5. Mister Sinister – The Mastermind Behind the Chaos
While Wolverine has plenty of brute-force enemies, Mister Sinister would bring a different kind of threat. As a brilliant geneticist obsessed with mutant evolution, he could serve as the overarching villain, pulling the strings from the shadows. His experiments on mutants—including Wolverine himself—could lead to nightmarish boss encounters and a deeper dive into Logan’s tortured past. If Insomniac wants to introduce a more complex, sci-fi horror element, Mister Sinister is the perfect choice.
