Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Trailer Released

Metal Gear Solid is one of the leading franchises in the gaming world. The first game was released in 1998- an action adventure stealth game which was developed by Konami for PlayStation. The legendary game developer Hideo Kojima directed, produced and wrote it. Due to the immense success of the first game, it was followed by the MSX2 video games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which Kojima also worked on. There were many rumors that the gaming franchise is undergoing a reboot and it was indeed true. At this year’s PlayStation Showcase, Sony displayed numerous trailers for all the upcoming games the company has in store. One of them which stood out to me was Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Watch it below.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Trailer is Amazing!

I’m not someone who is a big fan of games, but I happened to come across the trailer of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and boy was I amazed. The trailer opens on a confusing note where we see ants walking towards a dead frog and that dead frog being carried by a bird to a lake where an anaconda attacks it only for the giant snake to be killed by a crocodile. All this is very engaging but we don’t understand what is happening until we see Solid Snake rising from the water. This is where the trailer ends.

For the 2 minutes 20 seconds runtime of the trailer, I was completely invested even if there was no definite narrative to follow. I didn’t get anything regarding the story and yet I am excited to see the game. This is a very well done trailer. Watch the full trailer of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on YouTube:
