Sony PlayStation 5 has had a bitter-sweet journey ever since it was launched. It came loaded with incredible new features, an amazing DualSense controller, and some great games. But at the same time, it has faced massive stock availability issues since its inception. That is majorly owing to the chip availability crisis but that might end this year as pandemic seems to be settling now. Anyways, this week (February 21-27) is good news as massive restocks are going to happen due to the coming of Horizon Forbidden West. Here’s what we know about it.
Walmart
Good news fans and the one you don’t want to miss as Walmart has confirmed its first next-gen console restock of the month. It seems to be a big one and the retailer announced that it’ll have both a PS5 and an Xbox Series X restock later this week. The sate and timing as per Walmart is Thursday, February 24 at 12 p.m. ET. The drops are expected to last for at least an hour as the new inventory will be released every 10 minutes. So, be alert and quick if you want your desired console.
Target
Target’s last restock occurred almost three weeks ago and as you know, Target is one of the top retailers which continuously restocks. According to the insider Jake Randall, many Target stores have been receiving PS5 shipments this month. Owing to this info, it was predicted that a restock might occur last week (which didn’t happen) but it might happen this week.
GameStop
Another retailer you need to keep your eyes on this week, is GameStop. GameStop teased an upcoming drop of either a console or PC graphics card last week which turned out to be XBox Drops. But this week the chances are pretty solid as it has been some time since the last restock. So, keep yourself posted on GameStop as either an in-store or an online drop is coming really soon.
Best Buy and Amazon
Best Buy is another retailer to watch out for, with the reputable @Tracker_RY reporting that there will be a drop soon. Its last restock occurred on 20th January, so its about time for the next one. It’s been over a month now and that usually happen with Best Buy, so a drop is highly likely this week. Also, it’s been quite some time since Amazon’s last drop, so keep an eye there as well. Remember that Amazon has a habit of dropping console stock between the 20th-31st of each month.
We wish you all the best and may you finally bag the console you’ve been waiting for sometime!
