A company that was majorly in discussion for a while for most of December for one of the worst hacking attacks in the history of the gaming industry was Insomniac Games. Hacking attempts were normal for gaming companies, but for a corporation as big as Insomniac, such a major breach was worrisome, not just for them but the entire industry. The amount of data that was leaked in that attack was staggering. The major brunt of the leaks was of course taken by Marvel’s Wolverine. So many details of the game were leaked that it felt like the final game won’t have anything new to offer. Well, it looks like the company is once again under attack as a trailer for their unreleased Spider-Man: The Great Web game has been leaked!

Spider-Man: The Great Web was supposed to be a five-person multiplayer game built on a live service foundation, but it was struck down by Sony – as revealed by the Insomniac leaks. However, because of the leaked trailer we now can see what the game might’ve looked like. I must admit, based on the trailer alone I can say that the product looks market ready.
The trailer is narrated by Yuri Lowenthal (voiced Peter Parker), looks spectacular. It breaks my heart that millions of Spider-Man across the world won’t get to play this what looks like an amazing adventure. Here is the dialogue from the trailer:
