Jenna Ortega is one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now. Last year, she started the year off on a very strong note with Ti West’s X. The actress soon returned to full glory with Netflix’s Wednesday reboot by Tim Burton. The unsurmountable success of show resulted the actress being a household name. Wednesday is currently the third most watched show on Netflix. Ortega is now returning to the big screen in the consistently amazing horror franchise – Scream. Jenna plays an important character in Scream VI which has amazing reviews and reactions from critics and audiences alike. It seems like after giving back to back smash hits, the actress is getting another pivotal role in a major franchise. Tim Burton is once again is collaborating with Jenna Ortega for his upcoming film Bettlejuice 2, which is a direct sequel to his 1988 original Bettlejuice.

The Hot Mic podcast has become a home for spoilers and leaks about upcoming films and TV series. Jeff Sneider who is a reputed industry insider and leakster spoke on the podcast via John Rocha that Jenna Ortega is reportedly in talks to play Lydia Deetz, Winona Ryder’s daughter, in Beetlejuice 2. Along with Ortega and Tim Burton reuniting, the film will also see the original cast returning including Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and as a new leak has told us Catherine O’Hara.
Sneider also revealed that the sequel will also have an aging action star who is past his prime. He will play a ghost in the film. However, as to who that will be is not clear at this time. Hopefully, we’ll get some updates soon. All eight episodes of Wednesday are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
