The Fast and Furious franchise is well known – for the good and for the bad. Despite severe criticism to the franchise, it has amassed a massive fan following across the globe. Some might even say that the craze of the Fast movies is more outside it’s country of origin. This is often reflected in its box office numbers. The most recent outing of the franchise was also it’s tenth installment. The reviews might not have been great but the film still managed to earn $700 million+ at the worldwide box office. However, even this huge collection couldn’t save the film from being a box office dud as the film costed around $390 million to make. The underwhelming performance of the film should’ve resulted in a fastracked streaming release date but that was not the case. Now, after waiting a long time Fast X’s streaming release date is officially announced!

Fast X Is Finally Coming To Streaming!

Peacock has officially announced that Fast X will start streaming on the platform from 15th September 2023, 119 days after its theatrical debut. Earlier this month, a report suggested that the film might begin streaming from 25th August – 98 days after the theatre release. However, that report also stated that if not August 25th, then due to the 120-day maximum theatrical-to-streaming window of Universal’s, Fast X will be on the service by September 16, at the latest.

This is in accordance to Universal’s and Peacock’s recent streaming deal. Universal took full advantage of this and released the film at the last moment. Universal’s other major theatrical-to-streaming windows can be seen below:
