Jackass Forever is one of the biggest surprise hits of this year which came with the return of the Jackass crew. It is the fourth film in the franchise which began with Jackass 2002 and has lasted over a decade. The film was a tremendous hit at the box office and is now also available on Blu-ray. That aside, the film has also performed exceptionally well critically and boasts an approval rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. Jackass Forever was just released on 1st February but if in case it wasn’t enough for the fans, Netflix has announced the release date for Jackass 4.5.

Jackass 4.5 is all set to release on 20th May, 2022 which is exactly a month from now. Also, from what we’ve heard so far, there will not be a Jackass 5, at least for now. So, Jackass 4.5 is all fans have got till the crew decides to reappear for yet another comedic set of adventures. Also, embedded in the tweet above is a 90 second teaser of what you can expect from Jackass 4.5.
What is Jackass 4.5? Is It Jackass 5?
To answer the question, no it isn’t Jackass 5. Jackass 4.5 is an all-new feature film featuring the whole crew crafted out of the cut footage from Jackass Forever. Just like Jackass 2.5 and 3.5, this one is also packed with new stunts and ways to experience pain from a distance. The teaser shows off a never before seen stunt titled the Swingset Gauntlet. Swingset Gautlet is a stunt which sees the Jackass crew dodging a swingset in colorful inflatable costumes which is seems hilarious but painful if failed.
We’re pretty sure it is going to be a fun ride and it is always a pleasure to see Johnny Knoxville and crew’s reaction to some of the epic fails. As for the duration of Jackass 4.5, it is currently unknown but from what Netflix has posted, it is going to be a feature length film.
