Nobody 2: David Leitch Gives A Promising Update! -

Nobody is a 2021 action film starring Bob Odenkirk, Connie Neilsen and Christopher Llyod in prominent roles. The film was helmed by Ilya Naishuller and the music for the film was given by David Buckley. Nobody was written by someone who is a master of writing action- Derek Kolstad. Why? Well he singlehandedly wrote the first two chapters of John Wick. The third chapter was co-written by him and Chris Collin, Shay Hatten, Marc Abrams. The film follows a guy named Hutch Mansell whose life is changed after his house is robbed by some thieves. After the incident finds he goes on a quest to punish the thieves that did that to him.

However, this quest leads him to earning the wrath of a crime lord, Yulian, after he attacks his brother. The film was released on 26th March 2021 and was an instant success. Considering the success of the film the talks of a sequel were abuzz. Soon there was an official confirmation that the film is indeed getting a sequel. Today, we have an update on the sequel’s development.

Nobody 2 in Scripting Process

The sequel might run into some problems as Bob Odenkirk’s age and health is concern after his recent hear attack while filming Better Call Saul Season 6. The sequel will see him do some intense action set pieces and some emotional scenes. There is no update from Bob Odenkirk regarding his acting career post his heart attack. We’ll have to wait for some further updates from Bob Odenkirk regarding this. However, today we have an update on the sequel’s development from David Leitch.

In a recent interview with Collider, Producer David Leitch talked about the development of the sequel, “Oh, I think everyone’s really excited about it. Everyone involved is like, ‘Full steam ahead.’ We are in the script process, and I think we had so much fun making that. Kelly [McCormick] and I had a blast, the actors had a blast, the studio loved the results, and it’s happening. I mean, I think it’s happening as fast as we can make it happen.”

Nobody 2 is rumored to release in late 2023 and early 2024.
