Sofia Coppola, one of the finest filmmakers of this era has delivered yet again with perhaps her most bold film. This is not going to be an easy watch for Elvis fans. Last year, Baz Luhrmann gave a tribute to the legend in the form of his biopic but Coppola wanted to tell an even more intimate story that sees the legend from the lens of his wife. However, don’t mistake it is an Elvis biopic, just as the title dictates, it is the story of Priscilla. The production design, costumes, writing, acting and the subtle direction makes this one of the best films of the year. I’m in awe of Cailee Spaeny after watching this film, Jacob Elordi also delivers a strong performance. Priscilla: Physical Media Release Date Revealed!
According to a new listing on dvdreleases, Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla will be available for purchase on physical media platforms like DVD and Blu-ray formats from February 13th, 2024. The film was made available for purchase on digital and PVOD (Premium Video on Demand) platforms like Apple iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube Movies, and more on December 15th, 2023, 49 days after it premiered in theatres. The film debuted in US theatres on October 27th, where it grossed $20 million in its run.
The film stars Cailee Spaeny, Jacob Elordi, Kamilla Kowal, Dagmara Dominczyk, Tim Post, Jorja Cadence and Luke Humphrey. Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla is available for purchase on digital and VOD platforms.
