As sad, destructive, and unwanted the ongoing war is, it is the reality of our world. But I am not here to share my opinion on war or take sides as my job is to entertain you. We are living through a historical event which might affect the fate of our world, and such events are a big deal in the world of cinema. In the coming future, we will see a lot of cinematic pieces about COVID19 and the ongoing war.
One such piece could be a documentary on the life of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his emergence as a leader. It doesn’t matter who you support, we all like to hear stories of bravery and this man has proven himself to be a brave leader. Him being right or wrong is about perspective but his perseverance and bravery will be talked about for a long time.
I hope when all of this is over and Ukraine force Russia to retreat, a good movie/documentary is made about the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. To be honest, the life of this man could be an inspiration for many and that’s what makes this story movie worthy. Although, what’s going on is nothing to joke about or take lightly, in today’s world you just cannot separate cinema from anything. It is one of the strongest medium of communication and talk about any ongoing event being made into a movie, is nothing unusual.
Here’s to hoping the war ends real soon and the world returns to some form of “normal” after many back to back historic events since 2019.
