The Fall Guy is a new movie starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt that is about a stuntman who left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health however, he’s drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie, which is being directed by his ex, goes missing. The David Leitch directorial debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a Fresh rating and a Tomatometer score of 80%. The film boasts an amazing supporting cast including Hannah Waddingham, Jason Statham, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, and Winston Duke. If you’re as excited for this film as I am and you’re wondering when will it be available to watch online then don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

The Fall Guy Will Have It’s Digital Debut Soon!

According to a new listing on dvdreleasedates, The Fall Guy will be available for purchase or rent on digital and VOD platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Vudu and Apple iTunes from June 4th, 2024. This means that the Ryan Gosling starrer will have a theatre to digital release window of 32 days. A film with about a month’s theatre to digital release window is the norm lately.

The film was made on a budget of $130 million, just shy of Barbie’s $145 million. The box office analysts had predicted a $35 million opening Friday for the film, but it opened just below that number with a healthy $28 million. If the film continues to manage similar numbers on Saturday and Sunday then it could result into a massive opening weekend haul.

I think it is inevitable that the film will become a box office success which is why Universal has given it an exclusive theatrical run of a month. If the film overperforms at the box office, then this digital debut might be pushed further as well but for now you can mark your calendars. There is no update on the film’s DVD and Blu-ray release date as of now, but whenever there is an update I’ll be the first one to let you guys know.
