The Gray Man – Chris Evans Accidently Hits Ryan Gosling With a Gun
Accidents on sets of action movies are nothing new and actors often end up being hurt a lot of times. Actors like Jackie Chan and Tom Cruise, in fact, are known for sustaining multiple injuries while shooting some of their movies. Some happen while performing stunts, while others happen due to unforeseen mishaps. This particular incident lies somewhere in the middle a Chris Evans accidently hit Ryan Gosling in the face with a gun. Ryan is set to play the role of a sociopath in the film and it seems like he took that a little too seriously XD.
Evans took to Instagram to share the incident in a story and wrote, “My first day of filming. I accidentally hit Ryan in the face with a gun.” Check out this screenshot below.
While talking about Chris Evans’ role with Den of Geek, Joe Russo stated, “We didn’t have to sell Chris on the role; Chris sold us, in a way. We were talking to him as we were wrapping up Infinity War and then Avengers: Endgame about what’s next for him or where he wanted to go in his career, and he said, ‘You know what? I’m comfortable enough in my life and the work I’ve done that I’m just interested in taking risks moving forward, and I just want to play challenging characters.’ So it seemed obvious to us that the right move here would be to offer Chris the sociopath and not the hero.”
Film’s premise reads as the following, “When the CIA’s most skilled mercenary known as Court Gentry aka Sierra Six accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, he becomes the target and is hunted around the world by psychopathic former colleague Lloyd Hansen and international assassins.”
The Gray Man is all set to release in select theaters on July 15th and it debuts on Netflix on July 22nd.
