American Fiction Online Release Date Revealed!

American Fiction was one of the critically acclaimed films of 2023. The film was directed by Cord Jefferson and focuses on Monk, who is a frustrated novelist. He is fed up with the establishment that profits from Black entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes. To prove his point, he uses a pen name to write an outlandish Black book of his own, a book that propels him to the heart of hypocrisy and the madness he claims to disdain. The film is based on the 2001 novel Erasure by Percival Everett.

American Fiction debuted at the Toronto Film Festival last year where it won the People’s Choice Award. The film had a limited theatrical release in America in December but it didn’t do too well. If you missed the film in theatres but wish to watch it now, then here’s when you can watch it home.
