The Star Wars series will also bring in the fan-favorite character Grand Admiral Thrawn into live-action for the very first time.

Ahsoka Reviews and Reaction Roundup

The critics and journalists shared their views on Star Wars: Ahsoka on Twitter (presently known as X).

BD (BrandonDavisBD) – #Ahsoka is a straight continuation of Rebel’s, feeding the animation fans looking for more with these characters. Otherwise, it moves slowly but with a great score and occasional action scenes carrying. Optimistic for an exciting series with the heavy lifting done in the first two eps.

Joe Schmidt (jkschmidtstar) – Ahsoka is definitely the sequel to Rebels that Star Wars fans have been waiting for, While it’s not perfect, it looks better than most other D+ productions like Mando and Boba Fett, but not on the level of Andor. Love the focus on Sabine Wren, but can see where casuals get lost.

Jeff Conway (jeffconway) – I just watched the first two episodes of the #Ahsoka series! Rosario Dawson is phenomenal as the titular star. The fight scenes are epic and heart-pounding. The story has a rich story and great themes about second chances and female empowerment.

Jake (jacobkleinman) –  I saw the first two episodes of AHSOKA earlier tonight and it kind of rules! There’s a lot of narrative hand-holding early on but the plot still moves pretty fast. The new villains are equally terrifying and fascinating. Hera and Sabine both rock. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

German Lussier (GermanLussier) – I think #Ahsoka has a lot of potential. As a Rebels fan, I felt a connection to it that was really special. And yet it’s hugely epic at some time & oddly flat at others. Sabine is the standout through & by Ep2 I was fully sucked in. It could go south but I don’t think it will.
