Earlier this year Netflix had their big TUDUM 2023 event where they revealed details of many upcoming projects. Well, as we know that is not the only event the streaming giant hosts in a year. Netflix Geeked Week makes return for 2023 and as expected there are some major revelations afoot. We all know about M. Night Shyamalan’s Avatar: The Last Airbender. Well, it appears that the terrific source material is finding new home at streaming giant Netflix. The adaptation was highly anticipated as after a long while Netflix is backing a huge IP. The series will arrive on Netflix on February 22, 2024, and the footage was packed with treats for fans of the series, including looks at Ba Sing Se, the Fire Nation, Aang, Katara, Sokka, Appa, Momo, Suki, bending, and so much more.

The first season of Arcane was a major hit for Netflix. Ever since its release the critical perception of Netflix originals has changed forever. Yesterday, Netflix and Riot Games confirmed that the second season of Arcane, the League of Legends animated series, will be released in November 2024.

This featurette talks about the upcoming play in the Stranger Things universe that focuses on the story of Henry Creel, who is also known as One and who eventually becomes Vecna – the big bad of the Stranger Things world. The story will also have Patty Newby, the sister of fan-favorite Season 2 character Bob Newby.

Netflix is getting another huge IP on their platform. The new Jurassic Park animated series is called Jurassic World: Chaos Theory and will star an older Darius Bowman and the T-Rex Big Eatie from Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Netflix also shared the official logline of the series along with the release window, “After the park has closed, after the kingdom has fallen, a new era of chaos begins… Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is coming to Netflix in 2024.”

Netflix unveiled the trailer of Ultraman Rising and it features Ken Sato becoming a dad to a Kaiju baby. Ken is seen holding the creature’s egg and as it hatches, the creature thinks Ken is their father once they break free. Ultraman Rising will see Ken returning to Japan to pick up the mantle of Ultraman and finding “more than he bargained for as he’s forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe.”
