Ant Man 3 or Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an upcoming MCU Phase 4 film based featuring the characters Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Hope Van Dyne / Wasp, Hank Pym and Janet. The film will be directed by Peyton Reed is will be the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and 8th film is Phase 4. It is currently in its post-production phase, and will be the first Marvel film to debut in 2023. Quantumania will proceed the story of Kang the Conqueror who was introduced in Disney Plus’ Loki and set up the next big saga of MCU after the Infinity Saga which lasted 3 whole phases and 22 movies. So, here’s what MCU’s new big baddie will be doing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Full Plot Leaked
The following leaks were posted by DanielRPK on his Discord server after Marvel Studios held its first test screening for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. These plot leaks might not completely true as many things are often changed after test-screenings. But here’s a brief of the film’s plot and obviously, it consists massive spoilers for Ant Man 3. So, read at your own risk!
The Beginning
In a flashback we see Janet (Michelle Pfieffer) meet Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) inside the Quantum Realm during the years she was trapped there. She cleverly sense he’s a threat and that’s what kicks off the story. In present day she sense him again and calls the whole Ant-Family including Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), and of course, Ant-Man aka Scott Lang (Paul Rudd). Kathery Newton’s Cassandra Lang might or might not be involved as those details haven’t been leaked. Together they all decide on stepping into the Quantum Realm again.
Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Kang wants to take over the center of time so he plans on invading the Quantum Realm. What’s interesting here is that his second in command MODOK is played by Corey Stoll who played Yellowjacket in Ant-Man (2015). Apparently, he survived the events of Ant Man and has now joined hands with Kang as he wants revenge against Scott and Pym. Anyways, the Ant Team explores the Quantum Realm together in order to see what’s going on. As a result they go to Quantum Kingdom where Janet used to live and which is ruled by King Krylar.
The King Krylar and Janet had a thing while she was stuck there and he still has feelings for her which makes the confrontation a bit awkward. Moving forward, Krylar is trying to rise an army against Kang MODOK. and our heroes will try to help him do so. But before the battle they’ll be prepping for something interesting happens.
The Ending
Apparently, MODOK will betray Kang and help the heroes in making him powerless and then leaving him stuck in the Quantum Realm. Later, MODOK turns on the heroes and leaves them stuck in the Quantum Realm as well along with Kang, while he himself escapes. This is how the test screenings ended leaving much room for improvement as additions. That aside, the audience wasn’t shown the post-credit scenes which are usually added after test screenings.
One other leaker noted that this leak is true as far as they know with one slight error. The change being Janet doesn’t meet Kang in the past but in fact, meet him in the present for the first time. They also noted, that the ending might change but our heroes along with Kang will surely be getting stuck in the Quantum Realm but the events leading up to it could play out differently.
That is pretty much it from the Ant Man 3 leaks. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is all set to release on February 17, 2023.
