Attack on Titan Season 4 Finale To Release In A Month - Let's Recap

It is hard to believe that it has been over 9 years since Attack on Titan or Shingeki no Kyojin first came out and took the world of anime by storm. It is often called Game of Thrones of anime but unlike GOT, AOT’s final season has been completely mind-numbing and exceptional. The Season 4 Part 3’s 1 hour special that aired on 3rd March is the penultimate episode of the saga with just one more episode to go. The one hour special consisted to two chapters – Chapter 1 “The Rumbling” and Chapter 2 “Sinners”, and you can check out our review for it here. This article, however, is about the upcoming second episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 which will also be the final episode of the series.

Attack on Titan Finale Release, Plot, and Recap

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Finale Release Date Leaked For Nov 4!

Attack on Titan’s finale is all set to debut in exactly one month and even though fans have been joking about its extended final season, once it ends, it will leave a huge void in our lives. Season 4 Part 3’s first special was called The Final Chapters: Special 1 and the finale will be called The Final Chapters: Special 2 which might consist of the final 2 or 3 episodes merged together. As for the length of the finale, it is going to be a bit longer than the first special and might clock somewhere around 90 minutes. This movie like runtime actually makes sense, as there is still a bit of action and story left to tell and it will take this much time to wrap it all up.

About the story so far, after all the twists and turns throughout the highly complex 4 seasons, the finale is quite simple. In fact, the simplest AOT has ever been as it’s now Eren and Rumbling vs everyone else. All our leads, all surviving Eldians, and all surviving people of Marley are now in a single united stand against the Rumbling. To stop The Rumbling, aka the giants Titans, from crushing the final few survivors, our leads have to find Eren and appeal to him or terminate him. Aside from The Rumbling, there’s one more hurdle to cross before reaching Eren, and that is his brother Zeke aka the Beast Titan.

As of now, Zeke is completely under Eren’s influence and according to Hange’s theory, The Rumbling might stop even if they manage to kill Zeke and Eren. The assumption is yet to be tested and killing Zeke would not be as much of an issue as Levi has already bested him 3 times in past. Even though, he is in a pretty bad shape right now, he’ll still easily take him down with the help of others. But whether killing him would be enough or would they also need to kill Eren, is yet to be found out.

The previous special ended with most of the crew diving directly on Eren’s Titan, an injured Levi getting back into action, Reiner transforming into the Armored Titan mid-air to leap on Beast Titan, and Armin delivering a really cool line upon landing. So yes, there are still a lot of incredible moments to come which will turn AOT into the Tournament of Power from Dragon Ball Super! All we can do as fans now, is to wait and hope the ending pays off and is epic as the series has been so far.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Special 2 is all set to debut on November 4, 2023.
