Blue Lock is one of the top selling manga series in the world right now and sold over 1.2 Million copies in February (#1 Rank). It is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, and revolved around, Ego Jinpachi who is hired by the Japanese Football Union to lead the team to victory in FIFA WC.. His master plan to lead Japan to stardom is Blue Lock, a training regimen designed to create the world’s greatest egotist striker. As it happens, its anime television series adaptation produced by Eight Bit premiered in October 2022 and that led to a huge boost in its popularity. It has dethroned Slam Dunk as best selling sports manga since December 2022, as well as every other manga in the world. From the previous chapter, Hiori got the ball and Niko’s in front of him thought… NIKO: His movement has accelerated! I can’t stop it with 1-on-1… I’ll at least slow down Hiori-kun’s attack!! While Aryuu is marking Isagi. ARYUU “mono”: In sync with that movement, Isagi-kun got a pass! I won’t let him be free!! Aiku, just behind Aryuu saw Kaiser charging to Isagi from Isagi’s right. AIKU “mono”: Aiming for the gap in that movement… Reading the trajectory of Isagi and Hior’s pass…
He’s intent on snatching the final score! I won’t take my eyes off you, Kaiser! KAISER: I’ll put you out (or stab?)… Yoichi… Hiori’s dribbling got Niko confused. NIKO “mono”: He’s fast! Right? Left? This is bad… ARYU “mono”: The course is open! Here it comes! The killer pass! AIKU “mono”: No, Hiori… He’s only looking at the ball… Is he going to shoot for himself? It looks like Hiori’s about to shoot for a goal when Lorenzo came to him from his left. LORENZO: Yoohoo! That’s what “Blue Lock”, right? But before Lorenzo could steal the ball, Hiori “lifted” it. You’re a loser dog who can’t do anything if you can’t find Isagi! HIORI: You’re slow, idiot… The ideal (image) is already in my brain… BAROU: Huh? Then Isagi already got past Aryuu, Aiku and Kaiser. AIKU: Isagi? Hiori… isn’t looking at Isagi? HIORI: Are you there, egoist (Isagi Yoichi?) Hiori passed the ball towards the left where Isagi seemed to be waiting.
HIORI *mono*: If you’re the real deal… Ah, if you and I are the real deal… The pass was successfully scored by Isagi. HIORI *mono*: We’ll cross paths with the world’s greatest ideals and meet at the end of our “dream”! Editor’s comment read,”There is no word impossible in the future created by Isagi and Hiori! This final goal is a big proof that they are at the center of the world!!” This is where the chapter ends and the next chapter is titled E/Creation.
