As you may know, it has been many years since we got a Deadpool film but we’re finally getting a threequel that too with Deadpool being a part of the MCU. Although, MCU is in bit of a pickle right now with Guardians of the Galaxy 3 being the only universally acclaimed film since 2021, Deadpool 3 is one project everyone still has faith in. Although bringing back Hugh Jackman’s iconic Wolverine back hasn’t bode well with some fans, many are excited for his return. From what we’ve heard so far, it seems to be on the right track especially since its R-Rating was confirmed a few weeks ago. This would make Deadpool 3 the first R-Rated MCU film and the 4th R-Rated X-Men film after Deadpool 1&2 and Logan. What we have for you today are some leaked set photos for Deadpool 3, so proceed with caution as some potential spoilers might follow below!
Deadpool 3 Braces Up for A Wolverine vs Deadpool Fight Sequences
A few days ago, we got a look at Hugh Jackman’s iconic yellow Wolverine costume alongside Deadpool’s MCU costume which doesn’t differ much from his previous films. While that official photograph was shared by Hugh Jackman himself, the set of photos we have today are leaked directly from sets and reveal a big fight between Wolverine and Deadpool! Have a look yourself.
As you can see, the stunt work features Hugh Jackman in Wolverine’s iconic comics costumes however, we do not know if the guy in Deadpool suit is Ryan Reynolds or a stunt double. Anyways, the stunt seems to involve some slick flips and one on one combat. We also received some other images where we can see Wolverine with his claws fighting against Wade and his iconic sword. These images look as if you’re reading comics as both of theirs looks are just so comic accurate! Although, I personally loved Logan in his white undershirt much more, but for comics fans, this is just peak hype inducing stuff. Deadpool 3 is slated to release on 6th September 2024 in MCU’s Phase 6.
