Doctor Who will celebrate its 60th anniversary with three specials featuring David Tennant as the titular Time Lord. In May 2022, Ncuti Gatwa was officially cast as the 14th Doctor. So, when Jodie Whittaker’s latest incarnation of the character regenerated into David Tennant, the fandom went into shock. Cast of Doctor Who Season 14
When it comes to the cast, Ncuti Gatwa’s entry in the show has been quite a news. Gatwa’s role as Eric in Netflix’s Sex Education and as one of the Kens in the Barbie movie brought the actor to viewers’ attention. Fans can expect to see Gatwa in more than one season of Doctor Who. Besides him in the TARDIS, all the good Doctor needs is a new partner Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. Alongside the main pair, we will see:

Plot And Release Window
Most plot information of Doctor Who Season 14 is kept concealed until launch. However, thanks to the promotional images, the fans have a vague idea about the setting. Ncuti Gatwa and co have been seen in 60s attire. Gatwa’s 14th Doctor will likely delve into the wild adventures of time and space.
Though an exact release date has not been announced yet, the BBC has confirmed a Spring 2024 release window. However, Ncuti Gatwa’s first full glimpse will come in this year’s holiday episode. We don’t know if it will be a Christmas or New Year’s special.
Doctor Who will continue to air in the UK on the BBC, with the show as one of the flagship shows of the broadcast company. And due to the October 2022 deal, in the US Doctor Who will now be available to stream on Disney+.
