Dragon Ball Super Manga’s latest Super Hero arc officially began with Chapter 88 back in December 2022 and it bow about to end. Granolah Arc, which began back with Chapter 67 has effectively ended with Chapter 87 in August which also brought an end to the battle between the Saiyans and Gas as a part of the Granolah Arc. The Super Hero Arc itself has been divided into two arcs Super Hero prequel arc and the Call Max Arc. The prequel arc concluded with Chapter 90 and chapter 91 – 97 basically covered the first 85-87 minutes of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. This month we’ll be getting Chapter 98 and that is exactly what this article is about as the first drafts of the chapter have been revealed!
Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 98 Drafts and Summary Leaked
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 98 draft pages are now out as provided by @DBSHype. The leaks and spoilers for full chapter will be added in a whole new article on 16th-18th October. So stay tuned with us for this weekend to not miss any update on DBS Chapter 98!
As you can see, the drafts of the chapter are almost a carbon copy of what we saw in the film. A mis-fused Gotenks charges at Cell Max only to be punched away by him. While flying off he gets punched back by Android 18 landing directly on Cell Max’s weak spot and hurting him. As a result Cell Max gets infuriated and burns everything in sight including Gotenk’s trunks from the back side. Gotenks rushes away while Cell Max goes berserk.
Meanwhile we see Gamma 2 making a decision to charge himself up to his maximum potential and take a huge leap into the space. Ready to power up and charge down at Cell Max, the drafts of the chapter end. Hopefully we will see Gohan Beast arrive at the end of this chapter which means we’ll be getting at least one more chapter in this arc. Honestly, it feels like we’ll be getting two as it would mark 1 year of the Super Hero Arc and also be the 100th chapter in the Super Manga. As per info provided by VIZ, Dragon Ball Super chapter 98 is expected to be released on Friday, October 20 in the monthly V-Jump issue. As you may know DBS is serialized in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is released on the 21st of every month, barring a Sunday or holiday. When DBS chapter 98 comes out, fans will be able to read it on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and Viz Media’s Manga Plus site. The international release time for the manga series’ upcoming chapter is expected to be the following:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern Time – 11 AM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 11 PM
- Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM
