Dragon Ball Super Super Hero Broly Cries Vegeta Goku Beerus

Broly first appeared a long time back in Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan and kept coming back via Broly: Second Coming and DBZ: Bio-Broly. Although, he became a legendary character, he was never a part of the main DB universe. That was until DBS: Broly, which unlike rest of the films, is canon and moves the series forward. Broly once again made an appearance in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero which released on 11th June in Japan. Since it has premiered, unfortunately a lot about Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has been leaked on the internet, including Broly’s role in the film. So, kindly proceed with this article only if you want some major spoilers on the subject.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Broly Trains With Goku and Vegeta

Being absent from the main events of the movie, Goku, Vegeta, and Broly all train on Beerus’ planet. None of them use any of their Super Saiyan or God forms but are there to just help Broly control his powers better. That aside, Lord Beerus also seemed to be quite impressed by Broly’s power.

But unfortunately, we don’t see Broly in action much as Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus decide that he isn’t yet quite ready to fight and control his powers yet. So, instead Broly ends up carefully watching the fight between Goku and Vegeta, getting excited and even crying with Lemo when it finally ends. The reason why he’s crying is still unclear but it is mostly because he wasn’t allowed to take part in the sparring, even though he really wanted to.

One slightly cringey moment that takes place in the movie is that Beerus tries to openly go after Cheelai. Broly even after seeing that decides not to act, so they probably Broly and Cheelai aren’t together that way yet. Cheelai, as you may remember, debuted in Dragon Ball Super and was a member of the Frieza Force but ends up being friends with Broly towards the end.

That’s pretty much it from Broly’s role in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, as well as Goku’s and Vegeta’s role as well. They all play minor roles and are barely featured in two scenes throughout the film, as Gohan, Piccolo, and Pan take the center stage in the film.
