Fortnite is well known for collaborating with a variety of brands, studios, comics, and celebrities. So, any news for any sort of collaboration should not be surprising for anyone. In these collaborations, fans are offered new skins, new missions and new gameplay enhancements according to the event. Most of these crossovers/collaborations last for a week or so but offer fans a lot of fun. Owing to a latest leak we now know Dragon Ball Super is soon coming up in Fortnite.
Crossover Release Date and Duration
According to info @MidaRado the Dragon Ball is also going to collaborate with Fortnite and bring in awesome DB content to the Battle Royale game. We expect the collab to be about the latest film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero because it is going to release worldwide in August, so that makes most sense. the collab will include 4 new Outfits and that it would land in August near the release of DBS: Super Hero. Three of the 4 upcoming skins were leaked to be Goku, Vegeta and Lord Beerus. The fourth one we believe would be a female character, most likely Bulma, followed by Android 18.
Now, according to a highly reliable leaker @HYPEX, “It’s set to start in the next 1-2 weeks with an umbrella & chair appearing near this house & maybe challenges too!” The house he is talking about here is the Kame House where Master Roshi resides and is one of the most important location in the Dragon Ball series. Now could that mean that we might see Master Roshi as well, as an NPC maybe? But the cool thing is that we might see the Fornite x Dragon Ball Crossover as soon as first week on August!
Fortnite x Dragon Ball Transformation Emotes and Items
That aside, one other important detail that has been leaked is that the Dragon Ball Super skins will have an emote that transform Goku and Vegeta them into one of their Super forms. Now whether that will be Super Saiyan 1,2,3 or Super Saiyan God / Blue is still unknown. Also, it is possible that even Beerus may transform to his God of Destruction battle form by activating the emote.

This event will consist of more than just a few cosmetics, claims Shiina. A new lobby screen, numerous new quests, a new valuable item in Battle Royale, and Creative will all be included in the collab. If this is correct, the island will also have a new POI, currently known only as “Preheat.” Also, the “Stamina Capsule,” which was first revealed in a leak last week, is set to come to the battle royale and may be a brand-new Mythic item inspired by the anime.
