For All Mankind is a sci-fi drama television series produced by Apple TV+ and created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi. It depicts an alternate history depicting “what would have happened if the global space race had never ended” after the Soviet Union succeeds in the first crewed Moon landing ahead of the United States. Season 1 premiered on November 1, 2019 and since then it has continuously received critical acclaim every new season. For All Mankind Season 3 ended on August 12, 2022 and since then fans have been waiting for a season 4 and that is exactly what we’ll talk about today.
For All Mankind Season 4 Release Date and Trailer
The full length trailer for season 4 revealed at the New York Comic Con, depicts a universe eight years after the events of season three. The year is now 2003, and Happy Valley has expanded its presence on Mars and converted former foes into allies. The mission now revolves around capturing and extracting minerals from immensely rich asteroids, which could potentially revolutionize the future of Earth and Mars. However, the swelling tensions among residents of the sprawling international base might jeopardize the very essence of their collective mission.
For All Mankind Season 4 finished filming in early 2023, with the release date finally announced in September. It is all set to release on November 10, 2023, which is barely one month from now. The season will consist of 10 episodes, each of which will air weekly from Nov 10 to January 12, 2024. The episodes are written by Matt Wolpert, Ben Nedivi, David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, Andrew Black, Sabrina Almeida, Jovan Robinson, Eric Phillips, and Kate Burns.
Season 4 Plot and Cast
For All Mankind season 4 takes place 8 years after season 3, with Helios and NASA having founded permanent colonies on Mars. The focus of the space program has shifted to mining valuable extraterrestrial minerals from captured asteroids. Tensions between residents of the international Mars base threaten the progress of human colonization of Mars. The official story synopsis reads:
“Rocketing into the new millennium in the eight years since Season 3, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. Now 2003, the focus of the space program has turned to the capture and mining of extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working towards.”
