Well, after 38 years in cinema, Godzilla has finally won an Oscar, however, not the Hollywood equivalent of Godzilla. The original horrific version of Godzilla has finally grabbed the golden statue for its iteration in the form of Godzilla Minus One. However, that doesn’t mean we’re not getting the saviour Hollywoodized version of Godzilla. The Monsterverse’s biggest film Godzilla x Kong is on the verge of the release which is why leaks have been in abundance. Today, I might’ve come across the biggest one yet as I’ve discovered the clearest look of Shimo – the antagonist of the sequel who has been kept under wraps for a long time.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire: Biggest Leak Yet!
I’ve found multiple clips and photographs from Godzilla x Kong TV spots that give us our clearest look at the Titan yet. The monster has been kept hidden for a long time but we’ve managed to sneak and find some tiny appearances of the Kaiju. He looks like an ice monster as big as Godzilla. Is he also as powerful? Well, we’ll have to wait for the movie to decide.
Another point, it warms my heart to see that the big showdown between Godzilla and Shimo is in daylight. This certainly is a testament to the studio and creators’ faith in their VFX as mostly high octane VFX sequences are set in night time to hide flaws in the visuals. Unfortunately we’ve not found a clip or an image that shows Shimo in his element, all charged up and ready to attack. However, with less than 15 days for the film’s release I’m positive that we’ll get new leaks soon. Take a look at Shimo’s leaked photo here:
I merged different clips of the Godzilla fight from trailer 2 and several Tv spots. Definitely looking forward to this sequence in the movie.
