High School Musical The Musical Season 3 Trailer, Release Date, and More!

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is a show based on the film series of the same name by Peter Barsocchini. The show was created by Tim Federle. The show stars Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders, and Olivia Rose Keegan. Similar to Corbin Bleu, many other Disney Legends have agreed to join the cast, like Hannah Montana’s Jason Earles and the Zombies movies’ Meg Donnelly. The show debuted in 2019 on Disney+. On the contrary to the material its adapted from, the show is critically acclaimed and has garnered a decent fan following. The show has ran for two seasons until now and is renewed for a third season. The show’s premise is quite similar to its adapted material.

The show is set in East High School where we’re introduced to the members of the drama club and their faculty who are working for the plays they produce. This results in friendships being formed, rivalries flared and lives are reformed when the students realize the transformative power of high school theatre.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Release Date

Recently the Disney+ unveiled the trailer for Season three of the show and it has everything we expected. It was natural for Disney+ to do so as it is Summertime and High School Musical has a reputation of coming out in the summers entertaining us. The trailer shows us that Season 3 will have few special guests as Jesse Tyler Ferguson and JoJo Siwa. The two stars will respectively play Marvin, an old family friend of Olivia Rodrigo’s Nini and Camp Shallow Lake star alumni Madison.

In the footage that dropped on Wednesday i.e., 29th June 2022, we see that the East High Wildcats go to California for two weeks. Not ordinary two weeks but two weeks of summer, romance and camp and musical theatre at Camp Shallow Lake. This is great as the characters will be placed in an unknown and alien environment where they will have to endure and form new alliances where we’ll see a lot of weird character pairings.
