House of the Dragon

San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner and it seems like Warner Bros. is going to give us a run for our money. Warner Bros. will be making an appearance at the San Diego Comic Con almost after three years as the event was frequently cancelled or rescheduled because of  the Covid-19 Pandemic. San Diego Comic Con will take place from July 21 to July 24 2022 in California. Warner Bros. is reportedly having an array of panels including but not limited to Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, The CW’s Riverdale, screenings for Harley Quinn Season 3, Green Lantern: Beware My Power and so much more. While the exact dates of the Warner Bros. SDCC Panel are unknown but that will be out soon.

Warner Bros. will have a panel in Hall H for HBO series House of the Dragon which is based on George RR Martin’s Fire & Ice Book series. The show is set 200 years ago the events of Game of Thrones. The show is created by  George RR Martin and Ryan Condal. Condal is also serving as the showrunner along with Miguel Sapochnik. House of the Dragon will debut on HBO and HBO Max on 21st August 2022.

The Sandman Q&A

Sandman in based on Neil Gaimen’s DC comics that are set in the living world where Sandman- Master of Dreams gives shape to our deepest fears and fantasies. However, once the Dream goes missing for a century, his absence sets off a chain of events that will change both the dreaming and waking world. The Sandman is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of 10 epic chapters following Dream’s many adventures. The show will debut on Netflix on August 5th 2022 and Warner Bros. will be doing a video presentation followed by a Q&A.

Riverdale Special Video Presentation

The residents of Riverdale are facing its final and biggest conflict yet- the apocalypse. Riverdale will make its fifth and final appearance at the San Diego Comic Con. The video presentation followed by a Q&A will be conducted in Hall H where fans can discuss the new mysteries of Season 6. Fans look forward to epic showdown between characters. Season six of Riverdale airs on Sundays at 8/7c on The CW.

Harley Quinn Advanced Screening

The San Diego Comic Con will also be witness to the screening of third season of Harley Quinn animated show. While the entire show cannot be screened, the first two episodes of the season are reportedly going to be screened. The seats will naturally be limited and the preference is first come, first serve basis. Harley Quinn is produced by Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions and Yes, Norman Productions in association with Warner Bros. Animation.

Green Lantern: Beware My Power World Premiere and Panel

Warner Bros. is honoring their tradition of debuting or rather having a Premiere of DC Movies at San Diego Comic Con. This year it will be Green Lantern: Beware My Power. The new DC movie has John Stewart’s first adventure as Green Lantern aided by Green Arrow, as a part of the Green Lantern Corps. Green Lantern will be voiced by Aldis Hodge. The movie is supposedly an intergalactic thriller. Green Lantern must contend with a horde of interplanetary killers bent on eliminating every Green Lantern in the universe, while also journeying into the heart of a raging Rann/Thanagar war to somehow succeed where all other Green Lanterns have failed.

After the screening, the cast and crew will hold an entertaining panel for discussion of the film.  Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Green Lantern: Beware My Power arrives on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray, and Digital on July 26, 2022. Stay tuned for further updates about San Diego Comic Con!
