Shah Rukh Khan is having a dream 2023, which kickstarted with Pathaan in January. The film made more than 1000 crores worldwide and emerged as the Highest Grossing Hindi Film Ever! After being away from movies for more than five years. Shah Rukh Khan truly returned with an unimaginable comeback. Six months later, King Khan returned with another film and somehow managed to cross the very high bar set by Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan Becomes The First Actor To Have Two 1000 Crore Ventures!
Jawan has made history as it became the sixth Indian film to ever touch the 1000 crore mark. This makes Shah Rukh Khan the first actor to have two movies under his belt that have grossed 1000 crores worldwide. Here is a list of all Indian movies that have crossed 1000 crores:
- Dangal – Rs 1970 crore Gross
- Baahubali 2 – Rs 1800 Crore Gross Worldwide within a span of 10 days
- RRR – Rs 1276 Crore Gross Worldwide within the span of 16 days
- KGF 2 – Rs 1230 Crore Gross Worldwide within the span of 16 days gross
- Pathaan – Rs 1060.43 Crore Gross Worldwide within the span of 27 days
- Jawan – Rs 1004.92 Crore and counting Gross Worldwide within 18 days of its release
Jawan also made history yesterday as the film despite being 19 days old minted another ₹5.5 crores, taking its domestic collection to ₹568 crores, beating Pathaan and Gadar 2 who joined the list only this year. Here is a list of the Highest Grossing Indian movies domestically:
- Jawan – ₹568.70 crore*
- Pathaan – ₹543.05 crore
- Gadar 2 – ₹523.45 crore
- Baahubali 2 – ₹512 crore
- Dangal – ₹387.38 crore
Along with Shah Rukh Khan, the film stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Priyamani, Yogi Babu and Vijay Sethupati. The film is written and helmed by Atlee Kumar.
