Jon Snow Spinoff John Bradley Interested to Return as Samwell Tarly

The news of a GOT sequel spinoff about Jon Snow being in works, broke the internet few days back and the cast associated with the original show started speaking their views. Now actor John Bradley, who played Samwell Tarly for 8 seasons has revealed his views on the spinoff series speaking to Digital Spy recently.

John Bradley Needs a Good Script for Jon Snow Spin-off

The actor had said that initially he wanted to put the character past him and move on with new and different projects, but he’s now interested to read the script for new series and might consider to return it.

“I tend to think about it,” he said. “I think we all left Game of Thrones thinking that we’d played these characters for so long and they had such a life to them, we’d like to sort of check in with them and see how they’re getting on. We played those parts for so long that as soon as we’d finished, we felt sort of free of them in a way. Because it’s a lot of story to carry around and a lot of emotional life to carry around with you.”

The actor also said he is taking a break from going back to playing Tarly and exploring new areas, but he is not shutting down the idea of returning to Westeros completely.

“I think we’re all enjoying having a bit of a break from that and exploring new areas,” he continued. “But in the future, who knows? I haven’t spoken to anybody about the potential Jon Snow prequel, but if somebody wants to send a script my way I’d be interested to read it.”

Previously actresses Gwendoline Christie and Maisie Williams has also expressed interest to return to the series in some way if got the opportunity, while Emilia Clarke has confirmed she’s done with the show and not interested to return.
