MCU movies have always been hype-worthy and exciting (barring 2022) due to incredible world building and extravagance they boast. Many other studios are trying to recapture the magic of MCU and one of them is Sony. Sony’s Rebooted Spiderverse began with Venom (2018) and since then we’ve gotten two of trashiest CBM’s ever made – Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Morbius. Anyways, as you might know, Sony’s been planning to make Sinister Six film ever since 2013, and now it finally seems possible. Though Sony’s plan of making solo villain films without Spiderman is a little beyond my understanding but they are surely building up to their dream project. Sony’s upcoming projects Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web are in full swing as well and Kraven the Hunter is all set to debut this year. As it happens we have some awesome news about the same for the fans!

Kraven The Hunter Trailer Leaked Description

As you may know, CinemaCon 2023 has officially begun and Sony Pictures’ panel took the main stage on Monday night. The attendees were showered with load of updates about upcoming Sony projects like Gran Turismo, Ghostbusters sequel, the first 14 minutes of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse and much more. Among all this fans were also given a first look at the trailer for Sony’s Spider-verse’s upcoming film Kraven the Hunter.

The first footage of Kraven the Hunter from CinemaCon shows Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the iconic fur vest facing off against Australian mercenaries. He uses all king of weapons — from spears to bear traps, his hands, and even his own teeth biting someone’s nose off and throwing it at the camera. So, its pretty much official that Kraven the Hunter will be rated R as the footage features “lots of blood” and “lots of f-bombs” and sees Kraven ripping out throats.

Kraven The Hunter: Aaron Taylor-Johnson's First Look Leaked Sinister Six

The conflict is between him and his father (Russell Crowe), who raised him in the ways of hunter vs prey. There’s a shot of him with a young Kraven feeling the spirit of a dead cow. Kraven’s in a luxe office behind the desk with a crossbow as his victim enters. Calypso (Ariana DeBose) tells him “You’re a goddamn lunatic!” The teaser ends with someone saying “Don’t you want to know why they call me The Rhino.”

Yes, this is the first time we’ll see a proper live-action adaptation of the iconic Spider-Man villain Rhino. A huge fight between the two begins as the former injects himself with a serum, showing his arm actually morphing into a big gray rhino-like fist that did look somewhat comic-accurate. Talking more about the violence, Discussing Film said Kraven uses all kinds of weapons  to decapitate and chop up goons and crawls around walls and pounces on foes like an animal.

As of now we are looking for some footage leaks and we’ll post them separately as and when we find them, so stay tuned! Kraven the Hunter is all set to release in theatres on 6 October 2023.
