My Hero Academia (Boku No Hero Academia) follows the story of Izuku Midoriya (Deku) who is part of a world where 80% of the population is born with different types of quirks (superpowers). The anime’s last season premiered in 2021 with the finale debuting on September 21, 2021. Ever since then fans of the anime have been rooting for more content whereas manga is way ahead of it and has spoiled a lot for the anime fans. My Hero Academia – Tokoyami and Jiro Save Endeavour and Hawks
In a manga that has a very inclusive environment, and features around 50 major characters, it is quite hard to let each and every character shine. The main focus of the manga as well as anime generally remains on Class 1-A students, their teachers, a few pro heroes and the league of villains. Among the Class 1-A students which consists of 20 students, Jiro (Earphone Jack) is one of the most underutilized characters and rarely gets moments to shine. Tokoyami on the other hand does have some incredible moments and his Dark Shadow is a force to be reckoned with.
Anyways, these two got a rally incredible moment to shine in the latest chapter (354) of the manga and heroically saved Number 1 hero Endeavour. The chapter begins the fight with Endeavor and Hawks against All For One, as the villain is seen trying his best to prod Endeavor and somehow get under skin. He nearly succeeds in this strategy and injures Endeavour heavily with every opening he can find. All For One then targets Hawks and was about to seriously injure him before being interrupted by two young heroes. Yes, they are none other than Kyouka Jiro and Fumikage Tokoyami.
Jiro, with the help of Tokoyami, creates a wall of sound around Hawks using her Heartbeat Wall technique which effectively protects Hawks from All For One’s attack. Tokoyami and his Dark Shadow are doing everything they can to protect Hawks and Endeavour and have successfully deviated All for One’s attention. To readers’ disdain the chapter ends here on a massive cliffhanger as the fate of our heroes hangs in balance.
Even though, students were instructed not to get involved, Tokoyami and Jiro chose to step in. All this is thanks to Midoriya (Deku) and his ideals which have now been embedded into all Class 1-A students. But like always, that gets them into trouble both mortally as well as discipline wise.
