No One Will Save You Reviews Round-Up

No One Will Save You is a sci-fi psychological thriller starring Kaitlyn Dever, Zack Duhame and Geraldine Singer. The film is written and directed by Brian Duffield. The alien invasion thriller focuses on Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from unearthly intruders. The Brian Duffield directorial didn’t have a huge release, in fact the film directly went to Hulu instead of a theatrical release. However, for the past few days all I’m seeing are videos on how awesome this film is. I finally decided to check out the reviews for this film and I was overwhelmed to see such amazing reviews for an indie alien invasion movie. Check out the critics’ reviews for the film. Also, if you’re wondering where you can watch the film then Hulu is your destination.

No One Will Save You Reviews Roundup – An Intense Thriller!

John Nugent (Empire Magazine) – “A close encounter of the wordless kind, this is a smart and splendidly scary horror sci-fi, with a brilliantly brittle turn from Kaitlyn Dever.” Original Score: 4/5

Meagan Navarro (Bloody Disgusting) – “In Duffield’s capable hands, a journey through self-forgiveness gets transformed into a propulsive, nerve-fraying sci-fi twist on home invasion horror.” Original Score: 4/5

Benjamin Lee (Guardian) – “By the end of the rambling mess of a last act, it’s clear that no one could have saved this.” Original Score: 2/5

Peyton Robinson (RogerEbert.com) – “A tiring cycle of cat-and-mouse capture, release, and recapture sequences with no clarity.” Original Score: 1.5/4

Dais Johnston (Inverse) – “Instead of a challenge of filmmaking, it instead becomes a maximalist adventure that is just as confusing as it is experimental.”

Peter Debruge (Variety) – “Duffield sets multiple creative challenges for himself and mostly succeeds — well enough to attract eyeballs to this buzz-worthy Hulu release, at least.”

David Ehrlich (indieWire) – “Just when you think you have a good handle on where things might be going next, Duffield spins around and spears those expectations in the head with the spire of a miniature church.” Original Score: B

Frank Scheck (Hollywood Reporter) – “The film transcends its narrative limitations with an emotional underpinning involving the central character grappling with her feelings of loneliness and abandonment.”

No One Will Save You is available to watch on Hulu.
