One Punch Man is back with a new chapter, and as anticipated by fans, things are getting hot. The unthinkable has happened: a villain who can withstand one of Saitama’s “serious punches” has arrived. The hero for fun has been frantically looking for an enemy who can survive a confrontation with him throughout the action-packed series, and it appears that the hero killer Garou is the first to match up to him.
With Saitama having the chance to completely cut loose for possibly the first time in the narrative, the blows between the hero and villain are tearing reality apart as Garou gains the might of an evil god. As you’ll see below, this most recent chapter has undoubtedly astounded fans.

Garou unleashed several punches that truly knocked back Saitama while he was holding on to Genos’ core. The alien world that the two opponents are standing on top of is demolished by One Punch Man’s “Serious Table Flip” attack, which he delivers as his seriousness increases with each passing second. The protagonist is then able to unleash his “Omni-directional serious punch”, which is still insufficient to take down Garou, proving that the two might be on an equal footing.

This week, artist Yusuke Murata released One Punch Man Chapter 167, which continues Saitama’s conflict with Garou. Things have changed, though, as our bald hero is now taking each of his blows seriously. In this viral chapter, Garou and Saitama continue their face-to-face battle as the hero’s allies struggle to keep Earth out of the fight. This most recent chapter sends Saitama and his opponent to a Jupiter moon in order to keep the planet safe, and it is there that the hero finally lets loose.

No competitor has ever been able to challenge Saitama in this way, and Garou is getting stronger with each strike. The thrill of battle alone is enough to make Saitama a terrifying threat right now, but this fight is also a personal one for our bald hero from One Punch Man.

Garou went too far when he destroyed Genos from the inside out, and Saitama is the only one protecting it. Saitama is battling with one hand devoted to defending Genos while using the other to deliver powerful Serious Punches. However, despite this attack, Garou refuses to submit and would rather die than bow down to Saitama.
