Netflix Anime Pluto

Netflix Anime content has only grown in the past few year with fans all across the world. With originals and exclusive licenses on hand, Netflix is now set to bring another project to life. Netflix’s Pluto has offered the fans a new poster and trailer. Created by Naomi Urasawa, the artist used Pluto to reimagine the story of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy. The anime will consist of eight episodes in total. And, Studio M2 brought Toshio Kawaguchi on board to direct the series.

Set in the future version of our world, Netflix’s Pluto explores how society will function with humanoid robots. A mix of true crime and Astro Boy, Pluto promises to keep us on the edge as the show explores criminal desires. A robotic detective is employed to handle the high-profile case. However, things get weird when Gesicht finds himself in the crime sights.

New Trailer + Official Synopsis of Netflix’s Pluto

“In an ideal world where man and robots coexist, someone or something has destroyed the powerful Swiss robot, Mont Blanc. Elsewhere a key figure in a robot rights group is murdered. The two incidents appear to be unrelated…except for one very conspicuous clue – the bodies of both victims have been fashioned into some sort of bizarre collage complete with makeshift horns placed by the victims’ heads. Interpol assigns robot detective Gesicht to this most strange and complex case – and he eventually discovers that he too, as one of the seven great robots of the world, is one of the targets.”

Netflix will put Pluto on blast starting October 26th, 2023.
