Power Rangers New Season Title Revealed for 30th Anniversary

After two fantastic seasons of Power Rangers Dino Fury, the most recent season of the legendary Power Rangers television series is quickly approaching as we near the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Following his departure from the series in 1996, Billy Cranston, who played David Yost, the first Blue Ranger, will make his comeback in at least one episode of the 30th season, according to a new article in The Illuminerdi.

Power Rangers 30th Anniversary

A recent report from The Power Scoop revealed a name associated with season 30 of the series, and we may finally know the title of the upcoming Power Rangers season. While nothing has been announced, fans are already considering two Sentai seasons as potential options for adaptation in line with that title: Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.

Thanks to Alpha Action Stunts, the group responsible for the 2nd Unit Ranger stunts on the show, we do know that the season is scheduled to begin production soon. Fans did manage to take screenshots of the snippets they posted of the morphing sequence that is in development before they were promptly removed. Therefore, we know that filming is about to begin and that a working title may be present.

The new season is anticipated to be the series’ grand finale which has been airing since 1993. Several other returning Rangers will appear throughout Season 30 rather than just in one episode. Similar to previous seasons, the season is expected to be launched on the service in early 2023.

Know More About The New Season’s Title

‘Cosmic Fury’ is intriguing because it may hint at adapting a Sentai with a more cosmic or science fiction theme, but working titles can easily change at any time. The 44th and 41st Sentai seasons, respectively, Kyuranger and Kiramager, appear to be the front-runners. Although other seasons have been suggested as potential explanations, these two stand out as the most probable ones.

With a total of 12 Rangers, Kyuranger is famous for having a massive number of Rangers. That’s been a common argument against it being adopted by the Power Rangers, but maybe it wasn’t as unlikely as many believed. However, both games’ plots include defending or freeing the Earth from an enemy army. Kiramager, on the other hand, has a total of 6 Rangers. Of course, that could be said about many Power Rangers seasons.

We’ll have to wait to know if one of these turns out to be the case or if we’re looking at some combination of original content and prior seasons. While we’ll be cheering for Kyuranger, either pick is a success. Cosmic Fury fits with the Dino Fury name approach, so that seems to be a natural progression. Power Ranger fans, both new and old, won’t want to miss the 30th season since it will undoubtedly go down in history.
