Bethesda Game Studios, the studio behind Starfield, the much-talked about action roleplay game has assured waiting fans that the game will release on the pre-declared date. Bethesda Head of Publishing Peter Hines took to X/Twitter to assure fans that the game will be releasing as said before, that is on the 6th of September.

Starfield And Microsoft

Hines stated that the game will be celebrated with Microsoft hosting a launch event. The event will be hosted digitally —pertaining to the fact that most players use X-box passes to play the game. Hence, the game launch will not be a physical event, as is the case with similar events. Karim Jovian, digital media producer, also stated that Microsoft will be hosting an interactive event. Amazon, Steam and X-box have all shared the download specifics regarding the game. Starfield has continued to be the most wishlisted game on Steam for a long time, and it is said to be one of the biggest games on XBox after Halo-5.

When fans expressed concerns regarding the release of Starfield and its possible rocky release, comparing it to that of Cyberpunk 2077. Hines said on Twitter, Take a deep breath. I have an amazing team. We know what we’re doing.”

Also, it had been reported that one fansite had made an entire galaxy map by piecing together all the pre-release footage. Releasing previous footage from June of 2022, the execs also stated that the game would feature nearly 100 star systems – it could also be more. In the 6 second footage released by Bethesda, you can form an idea of the star systems. There were about 75 star systems featured in the released footage, and the notable examples among them that have caught the eyes of some pro-astronomy-eyed viewers are  Sol, Alpha Centauri, and Porrim.
