Battinson is all set to arrive with his first Batman film and DC is now maximizing its marketing efforts. The Batman is first DC film to come out in 2022 but is not a part of the DCEU yet. This standalone Batman film is directed by Matt Reeves (Planet of the Apes and Cloverfield series) and stars Robert Pattinson as DC’s iconic character. But this time it might not be the Batman you’d expect or grew up with.
Reeves vision for The Batman is not something superhero movie fans would expect. He has tried to make it as realistic as possible, by stripping him away from cool gadgets and his unrealistic feats. That aside the film will have a noir theme relying as much on realism and practicality as possible. It would no doubt be cool to see Reeves vision of The Batman. But if you expect God’s flying around or futuristic tech coming out of Batman’s belt, this one ain’t for you.

As you can see the reviews are widely positive and promising. There is no doubt the film is going to be epic and a lot of comparisons to Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy will be made. Some will even call it the best Batman film ever but in the end it’s for you viewers to decide.
