The Boys Season 3 was released this year in June and just recently concluded its run of 8 episodes. This season has cemented The Boys to be Amazon Prime’s no. 1 show. The show keeps on getting better with each new addition. While other shows wait months after their release to get a green light from the Studio/Network for another season, The Boys was renewed for its 4th Season even before the entire season was out. Karl Urban who plays a pivotal character in the show, Billy Butcher had previously revealed that the filming for Season 4 would start very soon. This was days before Season 3’s finale. If the filming starts soon that implies the season is ready on paper. Season 4 can be here as soon as next year. Considering the dark note Season 3 ended on, I’m very excited for Season 4. The blazing success of the show has made Amazon very happy and they seem to capitalize on the success by releasing an Art Book of the show.
The Boys getting an Art Book?
Studios are experts in milking their best products to the bone. Just look at Netflix with Stranger Things. To take advantage of the wave The Boys Season 3 has caused, Amazon Prime is now selling Art Books of the show that will put the d in diabolical. Let me explain, the book will give fans a look of the R-rated show an inside look at how The Boys came to be. The book is available for pre-order through the Titan Books website for $39.95 per hardcover.

Eric Kripke- the showrunner of The Boys was recently asked about Season 4 and the new The Boys: Varsity. It was earlier speculated that Amazon wants The Boys to expands its world by adding more shows in its world that will connect in one big crossover event like the MCU. Seeing the success of the show thus far, it makes sense. Kripke comments might’ve confirmed these speculations,
“There’s definitely crossover, and we’re doing our best to design a universe that sees some of the issues and storylines in Season 3 hand off to the first season in Varsity. Like there’s a presidential campaign happening in the background of that season, and there’s certain things that are happening at that school that are both in reaction to Season 3 of The Boys. There’s Soldier Boy, etcetera, but also some new storylines that are happening in that season of the spinoff that we have to pick up and take into Season 4 of the show.”
Kripke further mentioned Marvel in his comments, “It’s a very different corner of the world and it’s a different concern and thematic but it has been interesting. I give Kevin Feige a lot of credit because now that we’re dipping our toe into trying to build a universe and trying to do it well… it’s hard enough to keep one f-cking show straight but to try to keep two shows straight, have them each be entertaining… is a whole new layer of that.”
The Boys Art Book is slated to be released on 27th September 2022.
