The Flash Leaked Post Credit Scene, Teases Aquaman 2

The story of DCEU (now DCU) since 2022 has been one full of ups and downs. The hype for DC comics inspired movies was rising after The Suicide Squad, The Batman, and Peacemaker and with Henry Cavill’s cameo in Black Adam, the hype reached peak! But unfortunately the year ended with a disaster for them. Fans lost their faith in WB after James Gunn and Peter Safran announced their plans which brought cancellation of many DC project. That aside, their plans didn’t have any space for Henry Cavil, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and the already established DCEU. This led to speculations that The Flash will completely reset the DC Universe but as per reports received from the early screenings it is not true. Anyways, what we have for you today is based on the latest leaks about The Flash 2023 movie starring Ezra Miller.

The Flash Leaked Post Credit Scene Spoils Aquaman, Check Here

The concept of post credit scenes have been consistently used and popularized by Marvel Cinematic Universe and there is barely any film in the MCU which does not feature at least one post-credit scene. DCU followed the same suit for all its films since Suicide Squad (2016). So, you might be asking how many post credit scenes are there in The Flash movie. The answer is that like most DCU films, The Flash will feature 1 post-credit scene. The description of one of this scene follows below so read at your own risk, as you’ll encounter MASSIVE SPOILERS.

The post credit scene begins as we see Barry talking to Aquaman as they leave the bar. He is seen talking about everything that happened and explaining why Batman is always different in every universe. Of course, Aquaman is highly drunk and is clearly not paying attention. Barry continues talking and Aquaman passes out and fall down in a puddle on the street. Seeing this, Barry says, “it is time to get you home Aquaman”. So this Arthur replies, “I am home” while lying in puddle. Then Aquaman asks him to grab a beer real fast and gives him Atlantis ring to buy the beer.

So, while a few of you might find it funny, this scene ultimately makes Aquaman the butt of jokes again. Mamoa worked really hard to turn Aquaman from a joke in comics to a badass character on screen but this kinda undoes that. So, I definitely didn’t enjoy this scene as first of all it isn’t as good as the studio built it up to be and secondly, it spoils Aquaman for some cheap jokes. But it feature Aquaman which might be Mamoa’s second last appearance as the character. Also, could it mean we might see a Flash cameo in Aquaman? I do hope so!

The Flash is slated for a theatrical release on June 16, 2023.
