The Terminal List Showrunner Basically Confirms Season 2!

There are already rumours about whether Chris Pratt’s The Terminal List will be given another shot by Prime Video just days after the first season’s premiere. The series marks the second collaboration between the media giant and Pratt following the hit film, The Tomorrow War. The series is also Pratt’s first television role since his seven-season stint as Andy Dwyer on Parks & Recreation, which launched him into the spotlight and gave him the chance to play Star-Lord in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy for Marvel.

Will There Be A Season 2 Of The Terminal List On Amazon Prime?

The military drama is based on a series of novels by Jack Carr, which are still coming out in a flurry. That offers them an advantage because it indicates that there will be more James Reece-related stories to tell as long as there is interest.

In conversation with ComicBook, executive producer David DiGilio said, “Yes, fingers crossed. We’re really lucky – Jack is writing at an incredibly fast pace, a novel per year. It’s a little faster than we can make the shows, so he’s maybe too far out. Just take a little break, I’d say. But we’re really lucky, and I’d encourage anybody who loved season one to go check out True Believer. It’s an incredible read and a great blueprint for season two.”

The Terminal List’s official synopsis reads: “Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, The Terminal List follows James Reece (Chris Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life, but the lives of those he loves.”

Alongside Pratt, the series’ cast also included Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Gunn, and more.
