Wilderness is a six-episode thriller TV series. The synopsis reads: “A dream holiday becomes a nightmare for a young British couple who seemingly have it all, as heartbreak turns into fury and revenge.” Liv and Will Taylor are a young British couple whose marriage is going smoothly without any issues. However, a message in Will’s phone will turn things upside down. The message on his phone reveals that he is cheating and has already had an affair. Wilderness follows as heartbreak turns into revenge and fury. On 23 August 2023, a trailer was released with the re-recorded Taylor Swift song “Look What You Made Me Do”, which speaks volumes. The series made its debut on Prime Video on Friday, September 15.

After the premiere of Wilderness Season 1 fans would wonder about a possible sequel. The series managed to gain a good viewer count and reviews. Wilderness is based on B.E. Jones’ last novel, so for a season two Wilderness would require a lot more as it has no story to follow. Moreover, there has been no official announcement regarding a sequel.
