DCEU is on the verge of a rebirth as it is now been renamed to DCU. Warner Bros. It was clear that if they plan on building cinematic universe, then there has to be one person helming it who has a clear vision regarding all the content that comes out and how everything will culminate together. Basically, they wanted their own Kevin Feigi and after months of search they finally appointed James Gunn and Peter Safran as the new heads of DC after they fired Walter Hamada. DCU’s dawn was clear with the release of Black Adam which brought back Henry Cavill’s beloved iteration of Superman. Fans are now extremely elated and excited to see the new DC or DCU as it has all the right elements with which they can create something like the MCU or better. However, even after months of being appointed as new DC heads, the duo had not made any major announcements and fans were waiting for them take some decisions. Coincidentally, the duo has taken some major decisions today and it looks like the first wave of decision taken by Gunn and Safran is facing some serious backlash from fans.
DC Fans Are Not Happy With James Gunn Decisions!
James Gunn and Peter Safran have made their first set of announcements for the DCU where they have basically scrapped whatever upcoming DC projects where in development like Wonder Woman 3 and Man of Steel 2 in the wake to start their version of DC. This also means that many actors would hang their capes for good as Gunn and Safran plan to recast the entire Justice League, that means no actor who was part of the DCU would play the same character again, Momoa would return but as Lobo and not as Aquaman.
As many fans had high hopes from Man of Steel 2 and Wonder Woman 3 they’ve expressed their anguish on Elon Musk’s latest acquirement.

DCU’s next movie: Shazam! Fury of the Gods is slated to release in theatres on 17th March 2023.
