Joker is one of the most critically acclaimed and honored superhero flick of all time. It went on to earn 11 Oscar nominations, with two victories including awards for Best Actor (Joaquin Phoenix) and Best Original Score (Hildur Guðnadóttir). The one of a kind superhero film barely had any super moments and was largely depressing and qualified as a social horror film. The film had no hope whatsoever for its protagonist Arthur Fleck who ultimately broke down to become the most iconic DC villain of all time. The good news is that it’s getting a sequel by the name of Joker 2: Folie à Deux, which was confirmed last year by Todd Phillips. The sequel will see the return of Phoenix as Joker with the addition of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. Following article consists of some major BTS leaks about the film which have gotten fans tremendously hyped up!
Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn and Phoenix’ Joker Together In Make-Up
Since a few months, we have consistently received more information and leaks about Joker 2. A lot has been revealed by the film’s BTS and today we have the closest look at Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Phoenix as Joker, that too while sharing the screen! Obviously, the two will work together closely for this film and this is one of the man of their BTS pics that we’ll see in the upcoming months.

In the above BTS images and shots you can see Gaga and Phoenix in makeup although they probably aren’t wearing their official costumes. Obviously, this is not what their final look is going to be like but it does give a rough idea about how these two actors will look together on screen. Now, they are both worthy actors, so there was never any doubt that they won’t be able to make it work but still these images do feel satisfying. Being such iconic characters, both Joker and Quinn have to be portrayed with sheer excellence or it won’t end up being good.
You may remember what happened with Margot Robbie and Jared Leto’s portrayal. While Robbie did a phenomenal job, Jared Leto became pretty infamous for his horrendous portrayal of Joker. Ultimately, he brought down Quinn and Joker’s on screen chemistry which didn’t bode well with the fans. In this case however, Phoenix has already bagged universal acclaim and an Oscar for his role as Joker. And considering how good of an actor Lady Gaga has proved to be, under Todd Phillips’ guidance, she can surely match Phoenix. But its not all up to them as ultimately the make-up, character arcs, and writing will also add a lot to their effectiveness. Well, we’ll soon get to know how well they look as we are expecting to get their full make-up look leaked pretty soon as well.
