The end of this month of June is bringing in some new rumors about DCEU and Reevesverse including Joker 2, Harley Quinn, Justice League and Black Superman. The new leaks or rumors have to be taken with a grain of salt since there’s always a chance the sources of 4chan might turn out to be a bit sketchy. So, without further ado, let us begin.
Joker 2 Leaks
Joker 2 is confirmed to be in works for a while with the title Joker: Folie a’ Deux, with Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga part of the cast and Todd Philips returning once again as director. New leaks suggest Bradley Cooper is playing a key role in Joker 2.
Black Superman Movie Leaked
The news of a Black Superman project in development with writer Tah-Nehisi Coates attached to the project broke the internet by storm. It also split the DCEU fans, especially Snyder and Cavill hardcore fans expressing their disdain over the judgement. But according to recent leaks, Tah-Nehisi Coates delivered the first draft of the Superman movie in last December, which had a black Clark Kent during the 1940s. WB has ordered rewrites and they want the movie to be set in the present day and the idea of race-bent Clark Kent has been totally gone or discarded. Further details are completely hidden, but apparently it’s a reboot of the character within the DCEU.
Justice League: Dark Leaks
This project is stuck in development hell with film-maker and producer J.J. Abrams and his production company Bad Robot attached to develop the live-action Justice League: Dark series project for HBOMAX. Before that, Guillermo Del Toro had an idea to make a Justice League: Dark film, which didn’t get into shape for other reasons like budget constraints. The recent word is that Sope Dirisu and Victoria Pedretti signed to play Constantine and Zatanna. They are now the face from Justice League Dark Universe that J.J Abrams is developing.
New Harley Quinn Movie Leaks
Margot Robbie is co-developing with James Gunn and LuckyChap Productions a new Harley Quinn solo movie, described as a Lesbian Road-Tripe between Harley and Poison Ivy, in the vein of Thelma and Louise.
