Daredevil And Punisher Will Appear In Echo!

In a surprising turn of events, Marvel seems to be back on track. Don’t gasp. Think about it, 2023 was a rather decent year for the studio if you’re willing to churn out weeds. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Secret Invasion and The Marvels were horrible but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Loki Season 2 and What If…? Season 2 emerged to be major successes from Marvel. The reason I say Marvel is back on track is, they had a strong finish to 2023 and their 2024 debut looks solid as well. We all have seen the Marvel’s Echo fight sequence with Daredevil, right? If not check out here. The fight scene was done very well and has impressed many Marvel fans. Seeing Daredevil in full fledged action, many are now excited for Echo. But, apart from the Hornhead who else is making an appearance in the Marvel TV show?

Who All Are Appearing In Marvel’s Echo!

Daredevil: Starting out with the obvious. We all know that Daredevil is set to be major part of the series. He was not a last minute addition, in fact he was very much involved in the show from the get go. As mentioned above, most of the hype for the Marvel TV show is because of Daredevil’s inclusion.

Punisher: Unlike Daredevil, the inclusion of John Bernthal’s Punisher is not official but highly speculative. We all know about his return in Daredevil: Born Again. This unlikely return of the superhero has left fans theorizing that along with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio back as Kingpin in Echo, the series will also be a witness to the Punisher’s return before he makes his MCU main timeline debut in the Daredevil spin-off series. The theory is certainly plausible. All three characters are tied together through Kingpin. It’s also been reported that Daredevil will be searching for an old friend during the events of Echo. Could that friend be The Punisher? The character might appear in a post credit scene which will be linked to Daredevil: Born Again.

Ghost Rider: Yes, I believe Ghost Rider could make a brief appearance in the show because Marvel just recently announced “Marvel Spotlight” that is supposed to focus on street level superheroes. The first show under that banner is Echo. It is supposed to focus on standalone projects with street-level stakes, making it an ideal platform for Ghost Rider’s debut. We all the popularity of the character, which is necessity for Marvel right now. With the amount of supernatural characters that Marvel has and are set to debut, Ghost Rider will make an ideal addition to crossover with characters like Blade, Moon Knight, etc. to form Marvel’s Midnight Suns. What better way to announce a Ghost Rider spin-off TV show then introducing him in a post credit scene.

Jessica Jones: Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones was reportedly all set to appear in Echo but some reports points that the character was removed, her character might connect it to another upcoming MCU series. Krysten Ritter has always been part of the Echo series to form a connection with the Daredevil spin-off but was later reports point that she was removed.

Blade: Echo is the first Marvel TV show to be TV-MA which is basically an R-rating for TV. We all know the new Blade reboot and that it is rated R as well. Considering Marvel might plan to introduce street level superheroes Blade might get a cameo which will tie into the spin-off movie.

As a surprise, Marvel might also add cameos of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Man Thing, Werewolf by Night, Black Knight, or Satan. Marvel’s Echo will premiere on Disney+ from January 10th, 2024.
