Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania Kang the Conqueror First Trailer

Ant-Man is one of the funniest Marvel heroes we’ve gotten in the MCU. A lot of it is credit to Paul Rudd who is aging like fine wine. The  charm is undeniable and so is the charisma. The first film in which he featured was an awesome MCU film that had fun with itself and all the innovative concepts. Paul Rudd was one of the best things that have happened to us. Hollywood legend Michael Douglas also became a part of the MCU after the first Ant-Man film. While the first film solely focused on Scott’s journey to become the next Ant-Man, the next film of the franchise focused on his love interest Hope Van Dyne and she becomes the infamous Wasp. A title she always craved. The second film delved more into the Quantum realm than the previous one. Although it latched on to a detail that we saw in the first film- Janet Van Dyne.

In the second film we explored the Quantum realm in further detail and were introduced to Janet Van Dyne and Ghost. The third film is following the same footsteps. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania  is almost entirely set in the Quantum realm and will latch on to a detail that we saw in the second film – The Quantum City. There has been much speculation about this film as it much more important than its previous two installments as it directly ties into Avengers 5. In this film, we’re supposed to get our first look at Kang the Conqueror, not the annoying version of Kang we saw in Loki, the actual conqueror. The trailer of the film has been in talks for many months as a lot of people believed that we’ll get it at SDCC’22 but we didn’t Then many expected the trailer to drop at D23 Expo but it didn’t, although, the audience who was present there did see a trailer.

The description of the same was made available online. Now, after many months of waiting, as the world braces themselves for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel has finally dropped the first official trailer for the film.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Trailer Livens Up Marvel!

The Quantumania trailer begins with the new world that is devoid of the Avengers, however, the world looks happy. Scott now is kind of irrelevant despite his valiant contribution in the events of Endgame. The entire Lang and Pym family are together and seemingly happy until Cassie- Scott’s daughter sends a signal in the Quantum Realm because she believes many people still need help, pissing off Janet. The repercussions of this signal is that everyone of them is sucked into the Quantum realm.

There Ant-Man and co see the Quantum city for the first time and it is described as a world under ours. It is much advanced and full of weird creatures. We see Bill Murray’s character in the trailer as well. The family is trapped here and should find a way to get out. That is where Kang comes in. He’ll help them leave but they have to help him as well. What help? Well, it is not mentioned in this trailer but the footage shown at D23 Expo revealed that Kang is looking for something that he has lost. This trailer is not similar to the one showed at D23 Expo.

I’ve read descriptions of it and watched some leaked portions and I can conclude that this trailer is very different. A lot of things that we heard of the D23 trailer are missing and there are some new things as well. I’m very interested to see how things play out in the film because this is the first time Ant-Man has such a formidable villain in his solo movie. I think after Endgame, this will be his biggest contribution to the MCU yet. The trailer looks very interesting, however, I can’t shake off the feeling that the Quantum City looks something out of the Star Wars universe. However, Kang’s legion looked like Dune.
