Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania New Trailer Released! Watch It Here!

Marvel’s phase 5 is all set to begin with this new year and the first film on the list is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Until now the films in the Ant-Man films have been 2 hours doses of laughter that we got from the MCU, with the second part tying into Avengers: Endgame in the post credit scene. However, the threequel is reportedly important than any other Ant-Man movie in the past as it will directly connect Avengers 5 or Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. This makes a lot of sense as will also mark the first appearance of Kang the Conqueror not He who remains that we saw in Loki Season 1’s finale. Peyton Reed has once again returned to direct threequel, he has directed all the Ant-Man films for the MCU. The core cast of the Ant-Man franchise including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas are returning.

Along with these regulars, the supporting cast of the film has added Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, Bill Murray and Michelle Pfeiffer. Honestly I’m done with the MCU now. Phase 4 was terribly underwhelming but just like I say before every new MCU film, I hope Quantumania thrives. In late October, we’d gotten the first trailer for the film and it was quite engaging. Since then we have not gotten any new footage but that changes today, as Marvel has released the new trailer for the film in the middle of the National College Football Championship game. Watch it below!

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s New Trailer Is Fantastic!

The new trailer released by Marvel is not the one that they’d showcased at D23 Expo, which was quite an explosive trailer. This is another trailer that features a lot of footage that we’d seen in the first trailer but treats it in the new light of context. We see a lot more of Kang and the one sentence that gives us the idea of his power is from Jane who says, “He can rewrite existence, shatter timelines.” Well, I think that is quite an upgrade from Thanos. Kang being the new main bad of the MCU is a good thing but I don’t know where they will do justice to him.

We all saw what they did to Kang. The link between this film and Avengers 5 is pretty solidly established in the trailer as this film will supposedly begin a new dynasty- which one? Well, of course Kang’s. Honestly, I loved this new trailer even though it was not as explosive as the one showed at D23 Expo but the trailer has certainly intrigued me to go watch the film. I don’t think the trailer spoils the plot too much. We still don’t know what does Kang wants but whatever it is he can’t get it on his own and need Scott.

Whatever it is, it’s not good as Scott fights with him at the end of the trailer, trying to stop him. The film’s tone will also be quite serious unlike the previous Ant-Man films. I think this was an amazing trailer that has got my hopes high for the film. However, for sometime, I think Marvel is making better trailers than movies. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the best example, the trailers were amazing but the film well, quite forgettable. I hope this is not the case with Quantumania.
