Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the third and possibly the last installment in the Ant-Man franchise that exists within the confines of the MCU. There is a much higher chance that Scott Lang will meet his demise in this film as he is going up against the MCU’s next big bad- Kang who is the villain for the entire Multiverse Saga. This film will also be much more relevant to the saga it is in than the previous two films. Moreover, I believe this is the only movie which is actually moving the saga’s narrative ahead for the MCU, all the other films and series that we’ve gotten except Loki is stagnating and bloating us with unnecessary fillers. The trailer for the threequel was released back in October and the more recent one was released in January.
However, both the trailers didn’t have the famous line which went viral after a clip or trailer footage of the film was shown as D23 Expo. The line was Kang asking Scott, if he is an Avenger than has he killed him before? Well, it looks like that footage has finally found its way online.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania- New Teaser, Watch Below!
Marvel has amped up its canons for the promotion of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we get some footage here and there everyday. However, a recent TV spot released by Marvel called Before, highlights the conflict between Ant-Man and Kang. The 30 seconds TV spot also features one of the most hyped lines from recent MCU films- Kang asking Scott, ‘You’re an Avenger… Have I killed you before?” This line wasn’t featured in any trailers or TV spots that Marvel had released online.
The TV spot also features some more unseen footage however, that doesn’t stand out as much as this. Despite being a solo movie, Quantumania does a feel like a crossover venture. It is almost half true as the threequel is supposedly set to tie in directly with Avengers 5. The trailers for the film did tease that this film will mark the beginning of a new dynasty – Kang’s dyansty. Kang is the strongest villain the Avengers have ever faced, in the MCU. It would be interesting to see how Scott survives his lethal might.
