Now that Daredevil is making a comeback on Disney+, actor Deborah Ann Woll is said to be reprising her role as Karen Page in the upcoming revival. The introduction of Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear into the Marvel Cinematic Universe through a new Daredevil series has sparked the interest of many Marvel fans. It has been revealed that Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return in the Disney+ project. Woll returning as Karen would be a treat for fans who might be seeing the entire cast back together.

Longtime Matt’s love interest Karen was portrayed in Daredevil in a way that she may not have even been in the comics. In the show, Karen transitioned from working as Nelson & Murdock’s office manager to an investigator for the company and then to a reporter. She was the only person in Matt’s life who didn’t give up on him, making her crucial to his story. Woll claimed the role as her own and stated she was ready to return for more.
In a previous interview with Den of Geek, Woll confirmed she would “gladly, in a heartbeat”, reprise her role as Karen Page. “I would come back because I want to play with Matt Murdock again. I want to play with Frank Castle again. I want to see these characters again. Even though I’ve stayed in touch with the humans, the characters are also fascinating people,” she said. However, she clarified that she wouldn’t feature in a Daredevil revival or reboot that significantly deviated from the Netflix original series.
Before it was cancelled in November 2018, Netflix’s Daredevil had three seasons to its credit. With the release of Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans who hoped for Marvel Studios to reintroduce the Man Without Fear finally got their wish. Together, these 2021 outings restored the MCU roles of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere in late 2023 on Disney+.
