Loki is probably the only MCU Disney Plus series which most fans agree being good. Most other MCU shows have struggled to impress fans and critics alike and their past two series namely She-Hulk and Secret Invasion have been outrightly bad. There were a lot of hopes from Secret Invasion but it somehow turned out to be one of the worst things Marvel ever produced. So, a lot rides on Loki Season 2’s success both for Marvel television’s future as well as MCU as a whole. Loki season 2 is all set to debut next month and as it happens, we have some incredible information from you!
Loki Season 2 Full 10 Minutes Opening Scene Description
At the Destination D23 this weekend, Loki Season 2 executive producer Kevin Wright revealed a footage showcasing the first 10 minutes of the show’s upcoming premiere. Obviously, fans were quick to leak the description of the footage all around social media and that is exactly what we have for you today. The following description in a courtesy of Reddit, X (Formerly Twitter) as well as The Direct.
The second season begins at the exact same spot as the Season 1 cliffhanger, Loki in the TVA library and a statue of time-traveling villain Kang looming in the background. Mobius has no idea of who this Loki variant is and hence we see him Loki throughout the TVA halls. No one recognizes Loki. He tries to escape Fifth Element style by jumping into the back of some kind of flying taxi.
They hit the statue of Kang then crash into the TVA. At this point Loki takes a notice of the office floor which has the TVA shield and sword crest inlaid, but it‘s been damaged. He has no chance to process this before he glitches. None of the characters know why this glitching/time-skipping is happening, but it causes Loki to jump through time without his consent. He glitches through time until he is standing in the exact same room, with Casey staring at him quizzically. But unlike the other, Eugene Cordero’s Casey recognizes him which indicates that this is the same version of the character we saw in Season 1.
Loki realizes he’s going back and forth in time but something puzzles him. He notices again that the TVA crest on the floor is still damaged, which must mean that Loki was sent to the future of the moment he was just in. He asks Casey to get Mobius, but then we see him glitching again. That is pretty much all that happened in the opening 10 minutes which basically features some confusing but fun chase sequences. This also hints that there was a version of the TVA in the past where Kang openly ruled them but no one remembers that. Apparently, something might have happened to cause Kang to hide behind the Time Keepers facade.
